Phuket

Phuket is an island of Thailand.  I have traveled to Phuket once.  I went in Sept 2008 and had an amazing time.  It is a fantastic place to go on a holiday.  It is cheap in price but not in quality.  There is so much to do over there that you never could get bored.

When I went there the weather was about a constant 30 degrees celsius, bit humid but it only rained about  twice in two weeks.  I spent my time there lazing around the pool, getting massages each day, visiting the day spas, shopping, going on tours, snake shows, monkey shows and eating some amazing food.

One thing I did love was the amazing food you could get for such a good price.  At the resort that I stayed there was 5 restaurants.  The food at these places was not only fantastic tasting but very well priced.

I am planning to go back to Phuket for another two weeks sometime in 2010.  I want to go back and do more tours, I want to go shopping more over there, I want to try some more amazing tasting food, I want get massages each day for a sixth of the price I pay at home and I want to do so much more.

When I was over there I went on two separate elephant rides but they were only short 20 minute rides.  I want to go on a half day ride.  I want to go over with more money so I can do so many more things.  I would love to be able to visit some of the orphanages and give them some supplies. 

I can’t wait till I go back to Phuket.
